did you ever think, how it'd feel to be alone
without the one you've been for so long.
but now you know it comes out of the blue,
tears you apart, without any clue.
your heart is burnt to your dismay,
for everyone else, it's a grand display.
you never show, you hide it
in no one, you confide it.
but the heart breaks all the same.
for the other one, love's only a game.
you will try to run away,
but it'll haunt you night and day.
a broken heart, never mends.
however many you make ammends.
tears drop every night...
when you remember your stupid fights.
and think of how it felt to be...
in his arms, when you couldn't foresee
the pain he would cause to you.
did you ever think he would be untrue?
he cut you out, never glanced back.
you searched for emotions that he lacked.
now you're afraid to love again
afraid to go out and live life again.
but how long can you stay this way?
